Skills Development Guide

This section of LMIworks.nl.ca provides tools and resources to help individuals make skills development, education and training decisions to support their career and employment goals.

Skills development is critical for success in today’s labour market. Employers are hiring individuals who have the knowledge and skills to keep pace in the new economy. A single course or program of training will not provide all of the employment skills and learning opportunities individuals will need for career success throughout their working lives.

In this changing environment, skills development and learning need to be lifelong commitments for all workers.
